Please support my son’s fight for Justice

I am reaching out to share a challenging situation involving my oldest son. On Friday night, he was stopped by law enforcement for driving below the speed limit. During the encounter, they discovered an old felony charge for extortion, which dates back nearly two years. This charge stemmed from an online interaction with an unfamiliar individual, resulting in an extortion charge for $250. Although the cyberbullying aspect of the case was dismissed, the extortion charge remained, leading to a felony record and years of probation.

Unfortunately, this situation has severely impacted his ability to secure employment, as the charge continues to show up on background checks. Additionally, he is currently in violation of his probation for failing to report as required.

As of now, he has been taken into custody and is facing a potential sentence of five years without the possibility of bond. I am urgently trying to hire legal representation, as of today I’m $3,500 away from what’s needed and I have only a few days before his court date.
