Hi, my name is Shirley, and I am fundraising for my friend and her family during this terrible and worrying time. The Swift family went on a holiday for Christmas, but their youngest son, Max, fell ill on Christmas Eve. He was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with Influenza A.

Over the course of a week, Max’s condition sadly deteriorated. He developed double pneumonia and was transferred to the ICU, where he was placed on a ventilator. He is fighting so, so hard.
