Hello everyone, you may remember my son Jaelen Barrett from a little over 2yrs. ago. He was on the heart transplant list and received a heart on June 30,2022. It is with much frustration, that we are back on the same journey. Jaelen's body is rejecting that heart and unfortunately he is back in heart failure. He was admitted to the University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio early August and we are still here. The team of physicians have placed Jaelen back on the list and and have decided it will be necessary for him to wait for a new heart in the hospital, which could be months since his status is not quite priority. Like before, there are many expenses and wage losses that are accompanied by this unfortunate yet familiar scenario. We are prayerfully covered but the financial burdens are alot to bear. With his health conditions and circumstances changing daily,his hospital stay has been extended indefinitely. Therefore, any help that can be given, will be greatly appreciated.
