Who we are
Our Mutual Aid Collective is a grassroots, community-led effort, comprised of individual volunteers who are dedicated to extending care and support to the most vulnerable and at risk within our communities. Our objective is to provide dignity, safety, and care for every migrant mother, child, and family., struggling to survive in our community.
We are "boots on the ground" and provide real-time emergency assistance and continued support to migrant families who are too often left out of formal support systems. We are not a charity—we are neighbors helping neighbors, committed to care, solidarity, and respect.

About our Volunteers
We are individual community members, united in our compassion and commitment to serve the Mothers and children who are the collateral damage of this administration’s attacks on a vulnerable population, that just wants to work and keep their families together and safe.
We are local immigrant rights , many of whom once coordinated a women’s shelter with a local church. Though that shelter closed, our commitment did not. Today, we continue walking alongside these families, and this fundraiser ensures they are not forgotten.
Our volunteers don't just talk the talk, we walk the walk. We are hands-on, and all of our volunteers continually provide their own time, effort, energy, and personal resources to help the families we support.
Every day, migrant mothers and their children arrive in San Diego seeking safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild their lives. Many come with little more than the clothes on their backs, facing hunger, exhaustion, and uncertainty.
These mothers and families are not just surviving—they are resisting separation, violence, and criminalization.
Why Your Support Matters:
While shelters and agencies provide some resources, many families fall through the cracks—especially undocumented mothers and children who fear being turned away. Mutual aid ensures that no one in our community is left without essentials.
Every dollar goes directly toward purchasing and distributing these necessities—no overhead, no bureaucracy, just people helping people.
Join Us in Solidarity
Together, we can show migrant families that they are seen, valued, and welcomed with dignity.
Your support makes it possible for mothers to nourish their children, for children to have the supplies they need to receive an education and travel safely to school, and for our community to grow stronger in compassion.
Let’s demonstrate that where systems fail, community steps in.
Demostremos que donde fallan los sistemas, responde la comunidad.
Every dollar counts. Every share matters.
Cada dólar cuenta. Compartir también ayuda.
✨ Please donate, share, and stand with us in solidarity.
