On Saturday, September 25th, a beloved father, husband, friend, brother and active duty Army officer, Col. Chuck Rambo died following a brief illness. Col. Rambo was currently stationed in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

He leaves behind his 5 handsome sons and the true love of his life, his wife Janel.

As Chuck would say "I married a woman so much better than me it’s embarrassing. The rock of our family, her loving and guiding hands always demanding the best out of me. I love you!"

Everyone that knew Chuck was very well aware how important family was to him, especially his boys. He spent as much time as he could with them, more than most career military officers can. He was there to support Janel with the challenges of 5 boys when they finally settled in Fort Leavenworth. However, she is now alone to raise the boys without the support of her husband.

Chuck grew up in the Indian Harbour Beach and Satellite Beach communities and was loved by so many. He was a friend to ALL and was still extremely close to his core group of friends. Over the years, Chuck has helped many of us because he felt it was the right thing to do. He did it quietly, without any fanfare.

Let us come together for Chuck's wife and their precious boys, all under the age of 16, and help make their future and financial burden a little easier.
