Please support a Veteran and help make our home accessible

My father is a Veteran, having served 23 years in the US Army. He is now disabled from activities while in the military, with a 100% service connected disability. Among too many other ailments, he suffers from serious cardiovascular issues, very limited mobility as he's not well enough for a knee replacement, and unfortunately, the disease of dementia has taken much of my father away from us.
My mother is in her late 70's and is unable to care for my father and a nursing home would be imminent for him. So our family has decided to have him come live with us, care for him in a familiar environment, and give him the dignity and peace he deserves in his final years.
We were fortunate enough to qualify for funding for a stairlift but because my father didn't meet other specific criteria, we were not eligible for any larger grant programs. So we are seeking financial assistance to make our home handicapped accessible for my father, to include construction of his new space with a handicapped accessible bathroom, as well as other modifications like ramps and a certain kind of bed he requires.
I have faith that there is still kindness in this wild world we live in and any assistance would be so greatly appreciated.
Please please thank a Veteran for their service if you come across one. All gave some but some gave all to fight for the glorious freedom we enjoy every day. Thank you for reading our story.
