Please save us to evacuate and start a new life

Hi, my name is Amany Marof Herzalla “My family and I have been living through the unthinkable since the attack on Gaza started. We are a family of four sisters, two children, a grandfather, and a mentally disabled brother. Our brother is 40 years old, but due to his mental illness he’s more like a child, who doesn’t even know the concept of death.

We have lost so much — our careers have been shattered by losing our places of work , our home has been destroyed, and we have been forced to flee into the overcrowded city of Rafah, but the worst of it has happened to our brother: As we were crossing a street that we were told was ‘safe,” he was shot in the back and is now paralyzed. Our poor brother, who cannot even understand why this is happening to us.

We are desperate to get out of Gaza and into Egypt for the sake of our children and our brother, and we even registered with the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs over 75 days ago, but they tell us we have to pay $5000 per person to escape this horror. Please, help us get our children, our father, our brother and us out of danger.
