My name is Freya, and I am, like so many of us, trying to help people in Palestine who are in such a desperate and life threatening situation.

I have come to know Mohammad over the last, awful months, and after he was injured this week in a bombing of the place he was sheltering, he has taken the heartbreaking decision to try and evacuate from Gaza and asked me to help him set up a fund since he unable to do it himself.

Mohammad is just 17 years old. He was a student like most boys his age, going to school, playing football with his friends and looking forward to studying journalism. All this was taken away from him. His home was bombed, his school was bombed, and all the places he has known his entire, short life, have gone.

He has, tragically, lost many family members, including aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousins. He has lost many of his childhood friends. Mohammad has been displaced over 4 times, each time being told to move to safety and then being bombed there. His life is, for us, unimaginable.

There are thousands of people trying to get out of Gaza, all of them wanting to return to their homeland when they are able.. No Palestinian wants to leave, but the situation gets ever more dangerous every single day.

Mohammad will be evacuating alone, so please help him raise the funds to do this. There are teams in Egypt who can help him when he’s evacuated and he has a brother who is not in Palestine.
