Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,

Please help us return my brother to Afghanistan to lay him to rest peacefully.

He was a son, a brother a friend and loved by many .

Walid went swimming on 03/05/2025, not realizing the danger of the sea, he was seen entering the sea at 16:59 and never returned to dry land.

An extensive search was launched by the coastguard, RNLI lifeboats and a helicopter, but was unsuccessful.

After a 15 hours search operation, it was called off .

Myself and my friends searched everyone , by land and sea for Walid for 9 days.

He was finally found

on 12/05/2025 at 19:15pm.

We are trying to raise funds to reunite him with his family, back in Afghanistan.

If there was any leftover money after covering costs, it would be donated to the Masjid insha Allah.

He came into the UK when he was 10 years old by foster families he has been supported till he was ready to start his independent life . He made great headway with his future, securing a good job, supporting family around him and continuing to be a respected young adult.

My mum, Father and siblings are been waited all this time to just see him once alive but unfortunately it didn’t happen Allah (SWT) wrote for his best and we have to accept this.

He’s a Shahid «إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَیْهِ رَاجِعُونَ»؛

«ما از آنِ خداییم و به سوی او باز خواهیم گشت.»

"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return."
