please help us to give something back

Hey

My name is freya-rose often known as freya-bentos by my dad 4 weeks ago i became unwell, i had what my parents thought was a common cold or virus. After visiting a local drop in centre i was given antibiotics and thought i had a chest or throat infection.

What we didn’t know was the next part

A few days later i took a turn for the worst I soon was admitted to lincoln county hospital and quickly transferred by the critical care team to the intensive care PICU unit at leicester children’s hospital.

After many tests and scans they found out that my heart was failing, The prognosis was unclear.

so much energy but i couldn’t use it.

I was quickly diagnosed with cardio dilated myopathy which basically means my heart is very poorly and was very enlarged and couldn’t do the job it needs todo.

I have spent nearly 4 weeks in leicester hospital now and we are still unclear when i can go home and how my heart is going to recover.

They say i have 3 options

Improve,

stay the same l,

or it will get worse and i would require a transplant but i am NOT going to do that as im a fighter and im tough and my heart is going to recover.

The staff here have been incredible and they put up with my attitude so much and even put up with my Mummy (who looks a state most the time and is always crying ) and my Daddy

We want to give something back and let them know how much we appreciate them

Please even 50p would help us raise as much as we can without these guys so many children wouldn’t be able to have a chance

This team are incredible and i’m a fighter and as you all know i have the biggest kindest heart ever because im such an amazing little human and Im going to be okay Mummy and Daddy told me a secret i Have No choice i have to be ok
