Hi, my name is Stacey and I am fundraising for my amazing friend Samantha Robinson.
Our beautiful friend Sam who is 38 years of age, has recently been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is an aggressive blood cancer that originates in the bone marrow and affects young white blood cells. It's characterised by the rapid growth of abnormal cells, called myeloblasts, that crowd out healthy blood cells. This makes it harder for the blood to carry oxygen, fight infections, and stop bleeding.
At the start of 2024 Sam was diagnosed with Grade 3 triple negative breast cancer, she went through rigorous rounds of Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy and Surgery to then be told this devastating news. It’s unimaginable to have to go through this once, but twice just isn’t fair.
Sam has now been admitted to Christie’s Hospital to start her intense treatment programme. They have advised this treatment can take upto 9 months, with Sam running her own business you can only imagine the stress this has caused her.
I would like to set up this go fund me to help ease the financial burden of Sam’s long time away from work. So she can focus on healing and being with her two beautiful kids and family.
The strength and courage this girl shows everyday in this fight is incredible and myself and everyone around her are so proud of her.
Let’s kick Cancers arse Sam once and for all xxxx
