Penrhos nature reserve is facing threats of deforestation and destruction.
We are Harri and Zach - age 12 and 11. We love to visit Penrhos for walks, beach days, swimming, for fun, for bird spotting and most of all for the wildlife. When we found out about the proposed plans to cut down the trees and have Penrhos woodland taken away from us we knew we had to do something about it.
We are planning to run for 20 miles in the month of April to help raise awareness and funds to support campaign for the purchase and long term stewardship of Penrhos nature reserve for the community in perpetuity. Money will go towards Penrhos Community Nature Reserve, which is a CIC.
We will also be selling home made cakes on 3rd May in Penrhos car park where people can come and buy them and join us for a nature walk if they would like to. Thank you for your time.
