Shawn Habibi just lost his wife of 18 years, Karen Habibi Mason, to her ongoing battle with depression. She left behind her husband and her 14 year old daughter, Gracie. 

 Both Shawn and Grace, as well as the entire family, are in a state of shock and deep despair. Karen was loved by many. She was a nurse and a natural caretaker by heart. She has left a hole in many peoples lives by taking her life from us.   

 Shawn, his brother Jesse and Grace have decided to sell their home and move to Athens, Georgia to be closer to his immediate family and give Grace a chance to be raised by two adoring women and a grandpa.

It will take up to three months for Karen’s finances to be released, as they had separate monetary accounts.  Karen paid the bills through her account and Shawn currently does not have access to them. They need help to be able to pay their mortgage and buy food and have the peace of mind of knowing that they are not going into debt doing so.
