Hello, I am Yvonne, Chair of Birtley Community Pool.

We are committed to making our much‑loved community pool more environmentally sustainable while reducing the rising energy costs that threaten small charities like ours. Installing solar panels on our roof will cut our carbon footprint, lower our bills, and help secure the pool’s future for our local community.

We have already raised £37k towards our target of £50k, we are applying to several local funders to try to get the rest, but we also want to give our community the chance to contribute to help us reach our target.
