Rod is a Cordova High School Hall of Fame inductee and Sacramento treasure and legend. He is currently living in Nebraska and, unfortunately, has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Rod has faced adversity and won a lot of battles but he is now in the fight of his life. We want to bring him home to California to assure he gets health care of the highest caliber that will give him the best chance of ensuring that he can achieve a much better quality of life. Bringing him home will also enable him to have the support of his family, friends and community which will provide him the emotional strength to push through this battle.

The Connors family is reaching out to his friends and the community to help bring him home. We are organizing this GoFundMe to help offset his medical costs as well as obtain the funds to move him back to California and provide the living expenses he will need.
