My brother, Fredy Davila, was unjustly deported after nearly three decades of calling the United States his home. Our family is heartbroken but holding onto faith—trusting that God can make a way where there seems to be none. My name is Shirley Fields, and I’m asking for your help on behalf of my brother, Fredy Davila, who was unjustly deported last week, on October 9th, 2025, even though his immigration case was still active and close to being resolved.

Fredy came to Miami when he was just 16 years old, full of hope and dreams for a better life. Despite having little support, he worked hard and lived with integrity. He has no criminal record and, like any other citizen, woke up every morning determined to better himself one day at a time. He built his life here—his work, his home, his friends, and his faith—all rooted in the country he called home for nearly 28 years.

In 2004, immigration detained him and took him to Krome. He was later released under political asylum and fought his case for four long years—appealing twice and spending over $20,000 in legal fees—before being given a deportation order in 2008. Still, Fredy never gave up.

In 2021, after years of waiting, his pardon was finally approved, and for the first time in a long time, hope returned. But on October 9th, 2025, without warning or explanation, immigration revoked his pardon and deported him suddenly, taking away everything he had worked so hard to build.

Now, Fredy is in Guatemala—a country he no longer calls his own. He’s doing his best to get back on his feet while also continuing his immigration process from afar, hoping for the chance to return home.

Our family is heartbroken and doing everything we can to help Fredy continue this legal fight and return home. We believe in justice, compassion, and second chances—and more than that, we believe in the power of our Almighty God, for whom nothing is impossible.
