Help us achieve JADEN’s wish

I’m Linda, mum to JADEN Francois-Esprit, who unexpectedly and heartbreakingly ended his life in August 2020. Jaden was just 21 years old.
Jaden was a beautiful soul, a humanitarian who only wanted the best for everyone, regardless of their race and social class.
He joined a career to serve others. When he joined the London Fire brigade as an apprentice firefighter he said ‘I want to be a role model, make a difference and see a change.’
I have campaigned to expose JADEN’s lived experience as an apprentice firefighter in the London Fire brigade. Nazir Afzal and the Commissioner of the LFB cited JADEN as the catalyst for major changes within the brigade.
I have formed a community action group to bring our community together and to highlight issues within the workplace, specifically affecting our young adults.
Prior to his apprenticeship role JADEN never displayed any sign of depression or wanting to end his life. He had exciting plans for his future and always had a new hobby on the go.
In memory of JADEN’s zest for life I am hiking up Snowdonia to raise much needed funds to ensure every person who attends our community event can do so regardless of financial status. An inclusive community is JADEN’s legacy.
I would be so grateful if you’d please share this fundraiser with your friends and family.
Every person who is aware of our mission to treat every person with dignity and respect is another potential supporter and it moves us a bit closer to reaching our goal.
How you can support our cause:
