Our beloved friend, coach, mentor, uncle, nephew, godfather, brother, son, father, grandfather & husband, Dave Matsu, suffered a massive stroke on the morning of October 8th. Over the next 7 days, he did us all the honor of holding on so that each of us could laugh, joke, cry & love by his bedside. I have never seen more support for a family in my life during those 7 days. This is a testament to what a loved person Dave is and how much he, Donna & the family means to so many people. He peacefully passed away in the evening of October 14th.

I think we ALL can agree that Dave has had such a positive impact on the lives of so many. He is the best of the best in so many ways. And anyone who knows Dave, knows the importance of Ohana to him. My beautiful friend Donna and her family will now need the support they have always given to others. It is my honor to help facilitate this fundraiser to support the family. Please help me give to them what they have always given to others.

We are hoping to raise as much as we can to help this great family with whatever they need as they navigate through this difficult time. A donation in any amount will help immensely.
