Please Help This West Islip Family Rebuild Their Home

We are reaching out today with heavy hearts to support a beloved family in our community who has suffered an unimaginable loss. After living on Milligan Lane for decades, their house was tragically consumed by fire late Friday night, leaving them with nothing but the clothes on their backs. The devastation is profound, especially since Koula was in Cyprus preparing for her mother’s funeral when the fire occurred.

Please support the Michaelos family who lost everything in their house from the fire. Many of you may know Koula (Kyriaki) as the friendly, cheerful attendant at Bay Shore’s King Kullen self-checkout. Koula has a heart of gold and is always the first to help someone out. Now in this dark time, it’s our turn to support her and her husband as they navigate this journey to rebuild their lives from the ground up. Update: Koula is back from Cyprus and beginning the journey of rebuilding her house one day at a time. Undoubtedly, it will take at least a year to complete. She wanted to share this message to all of you.
