On Thursday, March 12, 2026 at approximately 6:30 a.m., my family experienced a devastating apartment fire. My husband, our 18-month-old baby, and I woke up to the sound of the fire alarm and found our home filled with smoke. We had to run out immediately and call 911.

Sadly, the fire destroyed everything in our apartment. Nothing was able to be saved, and we left with only the clothes we were wearing. All of our belongings, including our baby’s necessities, clothing, furniture, and personal items were completely lost.

This experience has been incredibly traumatic, difficult and overwhelming for our family. We are currently trying to rebuild our lives and provide basic necessities for our child while we search for stability again. Any support, assistance, or kindness during this time would mean the world to us.
