Parker Scissons, 15, a Grade 11 student at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Stittsville, was involved in a serious accident on Saturday night when he was hit by a car. Parker suffered multiple serious injuries, including broken legs, broken arms, a skull fracture, and the loss of several teeth. He remains in the ICU unconscious with his mother, Renee, by his side. Parker has a long road to recovery ahead, requiring many weeks in the hospital and extensive physical therapy.

Renee Scissons, Parker's devoted mom, has not left his side since the accident. As a single mother who lost her husband (Parker's dad) to cancer many years ago, Renee now faces this unimaginable situation alone, caring for Parker, the youngest of her three boys.

This GoFundMe page has been created by friends and family to help relieve some of the financial burdens on Renee so that she can focus solely on Parker’s recovery.
