<div>Parker Scissons, 15, a Grade 11 student at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Stittsville, was involved in a serious accident on Saturday night when he was hit by a car. Parker suffered multiple serious injuries, including broken legs, broken arms, a skull fracture, and the loss of several teeth. He remains in the ICU  unconscious with his mother, Renee, by his side. Parker has a long road to recovery ahead, requiring many weeks in the hospital and extensive physical therapy.

<div>Renee Scissons, Parker's devoted mom, has not left his side since the accident. As a single mother who lost her husband (Parker's dad) to cancer many years ago, Renee now faces this unimaginable situation alone, caring for Parker, the youngest of her three boys.
