On June 12, our dear friend Charles Li passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Charles was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and a cherished Brampton Fire and Emergency Services family member.

Charles was a Fire Prevention Officer through and through. With BFES since 2015, he dedicated his life to ensuring residents and businesses were always safe from fire. Through his knowledge and dedication, he showed compassion for all he encountered, always working to save lives, no matter the circumstances.

His generosity exceeded the requirements of his job. Charles showed us all his big heart through his unwavering commitment to helping out family, friends, and co-workers.

As Charles put forward so much of his life to helping others, we would like to take this opportunity to come together to support Charles’ family.
