Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my brother-in-law and my sisters family during one of the most difficult times they've ever faced.

Recently, my brother-in-law suffered a sudden and serious heart attack, at the young age of 31, caused by a blood clot that shut off blood flow for 40 minutes. As a result he had a stent put in and has a long road of recovery. He’s currently in an in patient score rehab facility working on different therapies to get him back to a safe place. He’s going to require 24/7 supervision once discharged to make sure he’s safe due to a high chance of sudden cardiac death and because he’s suffering from short term memory loss from the major cardiac event. It was completely unexpected and turned their world upside down as you can imagine. Thanks to doctors efforts and a lot of prayers, he is now in recovery—but the road ahead is long, uncertain, and filled with overwhelming challenges.

As you can imagine, the medical bills will start to come and they’re only expected to grow with continued treatment, follow-up appointments, medications, and rehabilitation. On top of that, their family is facing a loss of income while he’s unable to work. Everyday expenses—like mortgage, utilities, groceries, and caring for their 2 year old( almost 3 year old) twins—are becoming increasingly difficult to manage. They were also planning their wedding for next June.
