Hi, I am raising money to support my sister, who is a strong survivor of domestic spousal abuse. She has very recently, after 21 years of endurance, left her husband and filed for a divorce. My wonderful sister (a full-time mom), is currently supported by family, friends, and her church, however, as a mother of 7, including her youngest twin boys (ages five), she does not have the means at this time to be financially secure. As one can imagine, she is doing everything she can to get her family into a comfortable living situation and life back to some sense of normalcy as she navigates uncertain times.

My sister is very humble and would never reach out for help like this. It is my hope that through the kindness of others she will recieve some financial help so her and my nieces and nephews may get a new start. Our families will will be forever greatful. All donations will go to my sister to help her provide support for her beautiful children and give her a path to get herself into the workforce and provide for them on her own. If I had the ability to fully support her I would in a heartbeat, but financially that is not possible and to make it more difficult I am 1,400 miles away, so I cannot even be there in person to give her a hug when she is in need.
