My name is Dorothy McGinnis and I’m here asking for help for an elderly couple who have been friends to my family for 50+ years. They introduced my parents!!

Their names are Jim and Marilyn Williams.

They’ve been married for 65 years and Jim is a WWII Vet. They lost their only child to an electrocution at work 30 years ago.

They got an $800 tax bill recently, their tv just stopped working and there’s barely any food in their home. Marilyn dog sits to earn extra money but it’s a struggle and when Jim passes his pension goes away.

Jim has dementia among other things and he’s now in the hospital. He and his wife were also diagnosed with COVID today and it doesn’t seem like Jim will live much longer.

My heart breaks for this couple because they are the kindest and sweetest couple in the world, they always volunteered at church, took in people who had nowhere to sleep or go. All in all, these 2 are the most selfless people I have ever met. They’ve never asked anyone for anything but they need help.

I’m doing my best to help but I am only one person.

Please, I am begging you, help me help them.
