Hi, my name is Sam Vineyard and I recently heard of a friend in need. He is a lifelong resident of Fairfield, California and he is known to many original Fairfield residents. His name is Steve Ruble. Steve has suffered through multiple health issues over the past couple decades, which has created the situation that he finds himself in now. If you know Steve, you know he was always a gentle giant and always watched out for those who were less able to defend themselves. I personally have witnessed him stand up for many underdogs in my youth. He wasn't a troublemaker but he certainly wouldn't turn his back on a friend who needed his help.

Now, Steve is facing one of the toughest challenges of his life: the possibility of homelessness. As he has grown older, his health issues have made it increasingly difficult for him to maintain stable housing and meet his daily needs. Despite these hardships, Steve remains the same caring and generous person he has always been, but now he needs our help more than ever.

I'm asking for everybody that I know to pitch in whatever they can. No matter how little, every little bit will help.
