Please Help Randy Scheffee's Kids

This is Randy Scheffee.
He passed away on Monday, December 16, 2019 at the age of 57.
To friends and co-workers, he was the kindest most uplifting person they knew. He had this amazing ability to connect with just about everyone and his personality was undeniably lovable. Whether it be for 5 minutes or 5 years, Randy had a way of making you feel as if you're destined to be part of the news team.
For the great city of Thunder Bay, Scheffee was a sports icon for over 30 years. He was the man to go to for the latest on the Lakehead Thunderwolves, Thunder Bay Border Cats and Thunder Bay Chill.
But for his two children, Rhiannon and Tye, he was their hero. A single dad who worked tirelessly to provide for his two kids who he loved more than life itself.
If there was anything he would have wanted today, it would be the assurance that his children will be alright.
This is why I have created this gofundme page. To ask those who have supported and enjoyed Scheffee throughout the past 30 years, to make his last wish come true.
He loved Thunder Bay and all his fans. Rhiannon was telling me how happy and excited he got every time someone would recognize him. She was telling me how she's going to miss having him come home to her and her brother every night. How he would always talk about the Leafs and if they had a chance at the cup this year (probably not Scheffee :P). But most of all, she and Tye are going to miss the man who was there for them their entire lives.
The funds from this page will go directly to Rhiannon and Tye, who have promised to use the money to help with their housing and schooling. They are also planning to donate any additional funds to the Thunder Bay regional hospital's cardiac unit.
Please help these kids in their time of need. If anyone deserves your help, it would be these two teens.
