Hi, my name is David Carpenter, Randi's dad. Throughout most of 2022 Randi and her two children (Michael & Remington) have been living in an abusive relationship with Randi's husband (H) and the children's father. (ML)in Las Vegas, NV. Both children have special needs also. Michael is diagnosed with Autism and has difficulty speaking while Remington is diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis a respiratory disease. This relationship came to a boiling point on December 8, 2022 with (H) becoming very unglued and abusive to all 3. Randi called a friend to come pick her up from the house. Her friend came, and Randi ran out of the house with the children in her arms and jumped into her friend's car with her (H) running and screaming after them. Randi and the children have not been back since. Randi’s (H) has continued his abuse with well over 50 text messages a day that are rude, vial, and threatening, to her and the kids. He has made two trips to SoCal where Randi and the kids were staying. Each time police were involved with Randi’s (H) being asked to leave each time. Randi’s (H) has also called the police on 3 occasions for a well-check on the kids. Each time the police reported back that they are doing great. Randi and the kids are now living in with family in California. Randi’s (H) filed for divorce and both are now represented by family law attorneys. As anyone who is reading this message knows attorney fees are very expensive. As of now, Randi has been successful with her attorney's help in court at being able to stay in CA with the kids while her (H) has been ordered to complete drug testing (which he has refused to do) and a parenting course (also refusing). Randi now owes her attorney between $5,000-$10,000 and does not have a single cent in her name. She is being fully supported for daily needs by her family. Her attorney is now telling Randi she will have to remove herself from Randi's case if her office is not paid immediately the money she owes them. This would be devasting to her and the kids.
