My name is Nisha Bibi. I am 9 years old. I am studying in grade 2. I have 1 brother and 1 sister. My father was a drug addict and he left my mother, me and my siblings. My mother used to work in people's houses as a domestic worker to bring us food which was scarce for all of us. My siblings and I often went to bed hungry. My mother used to cry and pray to Jesus Christ all night due to our hugeness. Mother was also sick and we had no food to eat and no house to stay. That's when someone told my mom about Hope for Life orphanage. We have been living here for the last 4 years and we are given free education as well as food, clothes and all the facilities of life. There are 48 other children living here like me. But there are often power cuts here. Despite this, the electricity bill is very high every month. We children are often sick because of the power cut because the heat here is very intense. Due to lack of electricity, we cannot even study. I request you to provide solar panels to our Orphanage so that we can get electricity from the sun and we will be able to get light and air. The solar panel cost is $ 2750 for our center.
