This is such a tragedy. Mother and daughter both died 2 days apart. Both were mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers. Please pray for this family as they navigate through these sorrowful times.

Melvina was an intricate part of her community and very active in helping others help themselves. Never asking for anything for her services, she freely gave of herself to the end. Likewise, her mother was a very giving person even at the God-blessed age of 94 years old. They both were preceded in death by their only sons, Melvina as recent as two years ago.

We are asking at this time if you can help the family as they prepare to put these 2 beautiful souls to rest. The family must travel to New York to complete this endeavor. Melvina's mother lived in Georgia, and her daughter is traveling from Tennessee. Please keep this family in your prayers in their time of bereavement.
