Polly Davis was severely injured in a life-threatening car crash on June. 29, 2023. After grocery shopping at Publix Taylor Creek, she packed up to head home and nearly lost her life in the moments ahead. A drunk driver ran the red light at US1 at a high rate of speed and rammed the driver side of her car totaling it and causing massive injuries to her.
She is blessed to be alive and has a long road ahead to recovery.
Polly has been in and out of ICU and endured multiple surgeries for the past seven weeks. Her injuries are massive.
She has a concussion with a brain bleed and fractured neck vertebrae, fractured sternum, fractured lumbar vertebrae, All of her ribs on her left side are broken and two on her right side, a fractured pelvis, her left hand is broken and she has compound fractures on her left leg.
Polly is a lifelong generational resident of Saint Lucie Village and has helped and cared for many in our community during her long Nursing career and private life, after being hospitalized for more than seven weeks and miles ahead of physical rehab, she will be out of work for a very long time, if ever to return with no income…. I am hoping that the community will step up and help Polly.
She sure has done her duty in helping all that she has in the years past ... We sure do appreciate you passing this on, sharing it on all sites and donating if you can, every little bit helps and thank you very much.
