My doctors say that even with my expected setbacks/complications, my three-year battle with cancer and chemo treatments will end on-course at the end of September. Also, as my ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) progresses, my thrice-weekly dialysis will continue until I get a healthy, viable kidney transplant. ⭐ HOLDING ON & KEEPING THE FAITH ... My doctor said that I am nearing being over the cancer threshold hump, and that my cancer battle is on-course to be in-clearance mode soon. I was recently in the hospital for routine care/treatments/observation, and also heat exhaustion. Plus, my bloodwork and scans have to be repeated due to a sighting-concern; and especially as I am nearing-the-end-of-all-chemo. Ahead, there will be follow-up care, treatments, medication (including, "outpatient" oral "maintenance" chemo tablets) ** more bloodwork, scans ** as my ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) progresses, my thrice-weekly dialysis continues until I get a healthy, viable kidney transplant ** challenges/circumstances with reduced health insurance benefits/coverage ** some life uncertainties ** limited income/resources ** ... Regardless of my on-going health insurance claims/coverage challenges, denials, appeals, I will be alive, and I am hopeful for a better outcome. Even after a hopeful/pending cancer-clearance, my current "on-going" thrice-weekly dialysis treatments will continue until I get a compatible, healthy, life-saving, living-donor kidney transplant.
After the 9-11 demise, I was rushed to the ER as my heart and health were not functioning well. After years of medical care, evaluations, screenings, and fighting hard to survive, my kidneys also progressively weakened and I then began dialysis in August 2009. I have ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) and now also Cancer. I am still on thrice-weekly dialysis, awaiting a dire, life-saving, living-donor kidney transplant for the hope of an extended life. From personal experience, ESRD (End-Stage Renal Disease) and dialysis are more prevalent than most people might know.
⭐ Beyond any interest regarding a potential kidney transplant living-donor match, if you can, please also help me offset some of my medical costs/expenses for on-going thrice-weekly dialysis-related care/treatments, post-chemo maintenance therapy follow-ups, follow-up exploratory scan procedures, post management, and a bi-monthly alternative procedure that are not fully-covered by my health insurance. ⭐
