Solon VFW Post 1863 Pandemic Recovery Campaign

During this COVID 19 pandemic we were forced to close our doors leaving hundreds of our local veterans, staff and volunteers without their place of retreat and social camaraderie. Before the COVID shutdown the post was in need of general maintenance and operating costs. The lack of revenue during this lockdown has put the future of the post in jeopardy.  Please help us keep our VFW open and to help our Veterans continue on enjoying their place of solace and retreat. Many of the members participate in committees to honor our fallen soldiers, assisting veterans & their families in need, visits to the VA hospital monthly and providing them with snacks and needed toiletries, socks, etc. Community & members donations, snacks and supplies to the USO for our soldiers currently serving our great Country. in our community, VFW Auxiliary, Local Police and Firefighters and our Social Members who all gather with great admiration towards our Veterans. Please find it in your hearts to make a donation for rehab and operating cost and to help our beloved post get back on its feet. Our post was established in July of 1930 by WWI veterans. This year we celebrate 90 years serving Veterans and our community. With your support we hope to be here another 90 years for our future veterans. .
