Please Help Our Friend Tom In This Incredibly Difficult Time

Dear Friends and Family,

I reach out to you today with a heavy heart, as we come together to support our dear friend Tom Shipman, a dedicated sound engineer, who is facing an unimaginable tragedy. On February 15th, Tom’s fiancée, Bonnie, was rushed to the hospital, after a harrowing emergency operation, their daughters fought bravely for survival, born ten weeks premature. Tragically, Bonnie, at just 38 years old, passed away on February 22nd after complications during the emergency C-section, leaving behind not only the twins but also their two precious sons, aged 5 and 9.

Tom’s world has been turned upside down. As a freelancer, he now faces the daunting challenge of navigating life as a single parent to four young children during this incredibly difficult time. The emotional toll is immense, and the financial burden is a reality he must confront as he adjusts to this new and heartbreaking chapter in his life.

In this time of profound grief, we want to respect Tom’s need for space and privacy. Therefore, we kindly ask that you refrain from contacting him directly.
