The impact was devastating. He suffered catastrophic injuries, including the loss of his leg at the scene, multiple broken ribs, and severe damage to his pelvis and internal organs. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors fought desperately to save his life. He received 7 liters of blood, 2 liters of plasma, and 2 liters of red blood cells in an attempt to keep him alive.

Despite every effort, his body could not recover from the trauma.
