Hello friends. Most of you know I was just hospitalized for several days. This was due to a very unexpected medical emergency, which I still haven’t wrapped my head around and am not quite ready to talk about so publicly. However, I am the sole provider for our family, as Rob is finally awaiting an ALJ hearing for disability. I work four 10-hour days per week (plus OT when available), this emergency caused me to miss 3/4 of my workweek this week and will cause me to miss several more days, as I need to schedule specialist follow ups and further testing.

This honestly could not have happened at a worse time of year! We hate asking for help and honestly if it were just the 2 of us, I wouldn’t even bother. But I really want to keep things normal as possible for the girls, they’re already really worried about me! I really don’t want to have to explain why the power or water is shut off!
