Our dear Blanca lost her husband, Hugo, last night in a tragic car accident. Gloria, a wonderful, bright, talented 15-year old lost her father. They, and we, are bereft. We've known this family for ten years and they are a wonderful family working hard to make ends meet. Blanca is a house cleaner and Hugo was a chef who owned a tiny one-man operation in a corporate building, feeding the workers during the week.

A lot of you know Blanca because she's helped many of us in one way or another. It's now our turn to help her. And if you don't know her, just know she is special and loving and caring and she needs support right now. We want to help her pay for the hospital bill, a burial, and bills now that they've lost Hugo and his income. She is not asking, we are. Please help in any way you can and thank you in advance.
