Please help our Brittany Murphy

My name is Amanda Riley I have had the pleasure of knowing Bethel’s Brittany Murphy as my hairdresser as well as a parent of two amazing students at Bethel public schools. Brittany is the owner and operator of Brittany Shears on Greenwood Avenue. This single mother has quietly and selflessly contributed as a hairdresser and EMT to the Town Of Bethel of her own time On numerous occasions and now she needs our help.

Brittany‘s grandmother and longtime Bethel resident, Carol Ann Murphy, recently and suddenly passed away. Brittany and her three children lived with her grandmother and find themselves in a position where they need to come up with funds to pay the reverse mortgage. Without payment, they could possibly lose their home.

Brittany has always given her talent and time to the Town of Bethel and now it’s our turn to help her. This is our chance to show her It’s a Wonderful Life here in Bethel.
