Please help our Argentine family

Hello everyone, as you may know, I traveled to Argentina back in 2013 and fell in love with my beautiful wife Sabrina. From the first time I met her, I knew she was something special and that to be together would be a challenge.

To say it’s been a hard road to be able to stay together would be a understatement, but all worth it to be with someone you love, truly.

It’s been most hard on Sabrina for she moved all the way from her hometown of San Miguel, Argentina to Salem, Oregon; far far away from her friends and family. The last time she was able to see her Father was in 2019 at our wedding… almost 4 years! It breaks my heart to see her away from her mother and father.

That’s why, last month, I surprised Sabrina with flight tickets for her mother and father to come stay in our home for a month, as a Christmas present, here in Salem Oregon. She was so happy to be finally able to see her papa and mama!

Unfortunately, after almost 4 years we are STILL waiting for the U.S. government to let Sabrina stay in the U.S.A. and change her status with a green card, even though we are married. Thousands of dollars later and with help from attorneys, we are still fighting for her to be able to stay in Oregon. That’s why I decided to bring her mother and father here for we cannot leave.

This is when tragedy struck and why I’m doing this today 12/17/2022. They should be on their flight on their way here, but they are still in Argentina. They did not let them board the plane at EZE airport because her dad’s covid vaccine paperwork was missing/wasn’t clear on a piece of information. He also had an ID vaccination card that is provided by the Argentine goverment which has a QR code on it that needs to be scanned and it should provide the full information. The airport staff did not know how to use the code, so they just decided to deny them boarding. They told him, he should get vaccinated again (even though he already has 3 dosis) and reschedule the flight.

To be able to reschedule, they want to charge us USD900 in penalties without recognizing that the error was on their end; and also the difference in the flight rate which was quoted at USD3800.

Now, we are humbly asking you all to please, help us!

We are beyond devastated that our family won’t be able to be together for Christmas. Something that we haven’t had in a long time, too long. These people (Carlos and Lucia) are some of the most genuine beautiful people that I ever met. They let me stay in their home when I first was in Argentina and always took care of me. A complete stranger. I couldn’t believe the love and care I received from them. I love them. They raised a great daughter that deserves to see her family. That is why I made this GoFundMe.
