Hello everyone,

My Mum has been living in Australia with us the last 17 years, all while waiting for her permanent residency visa to be processed. My husband and I have now been approved to be her Assurer of Support but need to supply $5,000 as a bond or she will have to leave the country.

We do not have the money and have no way to get that amount within the limited time period available.

My Mum is 81 years old, we are her only family. Should she be forced to leave Australia, she will have nowhere to go to in South Africa. No home, no family, and likely no return to Australia allowed any time soon.

If anybody can help contribute even just a couple of dollars it will be immensely appreciated by us all. Our kids just want their only grandparent to be able to stay with us.
