A senior pup was recently found on the street, dirty, severely matted, and clearly unwell. After a thorough search, we were able to locate his owner, who had fallen on incredibly hard times through no fault of their own. With heartbreaking understanding, they agreed that Santana- their beloved 16-year-old companion- would be better off in the care of the rescue, where we can provide him with the medical attention and support he so desperately needs.

Santana did nothing wrong. Life just didn’t work out in his favor, but that doesn’t mean he deserves anything less than love, comfort, and the best care in his golden years.
