Yesterday, Sunday, May 10 at approximately 3:15 PM, my son Parker’s GasGas electric bike was stolen right out of our driveway while we were home and neighbourhood kids were outside playing. We are still in complete shock that someone could ride it down our street in broad daylight without being stopped or recognized.
This bike was everything to Parker. He spent every free minute on it riding with friends, getting to school, sports, and social activities. It wasn’t just a bike — it was his freedom, transportation, passion, and happiness. Now he has nothing.
As a single mom working hard to provide for my three children, replacing it is simply not something we can afford right now. We have created this GoFundMe with the hope of raising $1,500 to help replace what was taken from him.
If everyone could contribute even $2, we would be beyond grateful for the generosity and support in helping Parker get back on a bike again. Every donation, no matter how small, truly helps.
The person seen riding the bike is described as:
• Male, approximately 35 years old
• Sloppy dressed appearance
• Red hoodie with white writing down the right sleeve
• Dark jeans
• Black shirt hanging below hoodie
• Ball cap, sunglasses, and black work boots
The GasGas bike is very recognizable right now because:
• The rear fin/fender is broken and missing
• It currently has NO plastics on it — only the exposed frame which is red and says gas gas on the tires
If anyone sees this bike or recognizes the person, please contact police immediately or message us privately.
Even if you cannot donate, sharing this post would mean so much to our family. Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping us try to restore a little happiness back to Parker.
