Hi my name Is Louis Bradley Rhodes, I’m a 100% service connected Marine Corps veteran. Due to few misfortunes and my landlord raising my rent an extra $1000 a month at the end of my lease, my son and I have been homeless for the last 12 days and just need a little help. I’ve had 5 hip replacements and 2 back surgeries and I’m paralyzed in my left leg from the knee down due to injuries from the military. I never thought being homeless could happen to me but boy was I wrong. We’ve have been living in my truck at the rest area at the skyway bridge and I just wanted to be able to get a room for a night or two and food since we haven’t eaten in a few days. I don’t really know how much I need but any amount helps. If it weren’t for my son I would have rough it but he means the world to me and I feel like a failure as his father even though this has been out of my control.
