Please help my parents

Hi everyone,

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do—ask for help. I’ve always tried to be strong, to take care of things quietly, and never be a burden. But right now, my heart is heavy, and I know I can’t do this alone.

My parents are two of the most hardworking, selfless people I know. They’ve given me everything they could, even when they didn’t have much themselves. Now they’re both going through a really difficult time.

A while ago, my dad injured his leg badly. He can’t stand for long without being in serious pain, and working is no longer possible for him. My mom, who’s already living with chronic pain, is working full-time day and night shifts just to try and cover what they can. It’s breaking my heart watching them push through every day with so much pain and pressure.

To help, I started a small business—working markets and selling my creations—but lately, it’s been hard. Some weekends I don’t make enough to even cover one bill. I’ve been hoping to start an Etsy shop to reach more people, but the upfront fees have made it impossible for me to get started.

I never thought I’d be in this position, but I’m reaching out now because I just want to give my parents a break. We only need $500 to get by and catch up on bills this month. That’s it—$500 to help lift this weight off their shoulders for just a little while.
