My mother, the woman you see in the cover, is a stage 4 Lymphoma Hodgkin cancer survivor. While some cancer patients may survive their disease, those that defeat it deal with lifelong side effects and health issues. They have to take care of their health way more than the average healthy person does, and those treatments are expensive.

My mom is a hard-working woman she busts her ass everyday to make sure that she can put a roof over her 2 children's heads and that we have enough food to not go hungry.

I am raising money so that my mom, who was stripped of her health insurance, does not have to worry about the costs and can just get the medicine that she needs to live her life.
