Please Help My Grandma and family rebuild from hurricane

Hi, my name is Joseph. I’m 15 years old and living in Canada, and today I am asking for help for my family in Jamaica.

My grandmother Audrianna Smith and my young cousins live in Olive River, a small farming community in upper Trelawny. When I was a baby, my father passed away in Jamaica — he was the provider for our family. Since then, my grandmother has worked hard as a farmer to support everyone.

This week, Hurricane Melissa took everything from them.
Their crops — gone.
Their home — destroyed.
Their clothes, food, and clean water — all lost.

The roof blew off, the windows shattered, and the inside of the house was completely flooded. They are left with nothing. They are hungry, without safe water to drink, and with little more than what they had on their backs when the storm hit.

To make things worse, their community is cut off — the road split in two, so help cannot reach them. And because they live so far up in the hills, aid and relief groups will likely never get to them.

I am raising money so they can survive this and begin to rebuild. Every dollar will go directly to my family — to food, clean water, clothing, and materials to fix their home.

If you are able to help, I would be forever grateful.
Even the smallest donation can make a life-saving difference right now.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping my family have a chance to start again. Your kindness means more than you know.
