Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d have to ask for help like this, and it’s really hard for me to ask, but right now we don’t really have another choice. My family is going through something really hard right now. My dad was recently detained by ICE and is currently being held. This happened on the morning of New Year’s Eve. Everything changed so suddenly and unexpectedly and we’re still trying to process it.

My dad is the primary provider for our family. He works hard and has always taken care of us, so losing him from our day to day life and financially also, has been devastating. On top of that, we’re now facing lawyer fees, immigration costs, and other unexpected expenses, all while trying to keep up with rent, bills, groceries, and basic necessities.

This situation has been scary, overwhelming, and heartbreaking. We miss him so much, and the uncertainty of not knowing what’s next has taken a huge emotional toll on all of us.

I’m asking for help because we truly can’t do this alone. Any donation, no matter how small, will help us stay afloat during this time and support my dad as we fight for him and our family. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this means more than you know, truly .
