Hurricane Melissa has devastated many Jamaican families. It has taken homes, caused tragic accidents and shown innocent children a side of life they never deserved to see.

To those who are kind enough to worry, my name is Jackie. I'm an elderly Jamaican woman living in the UK, unfortunately unable to work because of physical disabilities, and I'm trying to raise some money to help my family back home rebuild their house.

We are not asking for a lot, any and all donations mean the world to us, we just hope you can find it in your heart to spare some extra change to provide a family with the shelter and warmth that everyone deserves.
