Hi everyone my name is Dawson Doan and I'm making this GoFundMe for my entire family. My mother (Ivanka Doan), father (Tai Doan), and brother (Darron Doan). During the devasting fire that occurred in Lahaina a couple of days ago, my family's business on Front Street named Lahaina Gems sadly succumbed to the fire. Lahaina Gems has been on Front Street for the past 20 years and it is so sad that all the great memories and my family's livelihood have been taken away. Not just our family business was affected, our house near Lahaina Gateway was also burned. Although I don't usually ask for help like this, but any donations would be greatly appreciated during these tough times. I'm so devasted for my family that our business and house are completely gone in a matter of moments. I hope that all of Lahaina will eventually be restored and that our whole community will come together to get through these hardships.
